Welcome to the Eat Capture Share Affiliate Program

I’m so glad you are here!

Hi friend!

We're so honoured you're interested in sharing the Eat Capture Share food photography online courses with your community!

To thank you, we have created an affiliate program so you get a commission from each new student you bring to the EAT CAPTURE SHARE online school. The new student will also get a discount on the course fee!

Here you’ll find all the tools you need to make the program work best for you:

·      FAQs about how the program works

·      A short video on how to navigate your affiliate account (please note the current video focuses on the Foundation course but is still useful. We are working on an updated version!!)

·      Resources and tailor made templates so you can create content that will attract new students in no time!

Have more questions? We’ll cover them below:

  • An affiliate link is a special link that our affiliates (that’s you!) use to direct their audience to the EAT CAPTURE SHARE courses. These links are generated when we set you up as a member of our program, and you can access/copy them through the Thinkific platform (more about how to do this can be found in the instructional video below). Please always use these links when talking about the courses, so the system knows the new student came from you.

  • The commission rate is 15% of the price paid by the new student/referral.

  • The discount may vary, but it is currently 15% off the full price of the courses (for both payments in full and in instalments). We will of course inform you if it changes. Once you are set up as an affiliate, we will provide you with a code to share with your audience. When they sign up for the course they MUST remember to use this code at checkout to claim their discount.

  • We’ll make payment approximately 30 days after your referral completes their payment (whether in full or in instalments). Please add the email address linked to your PayPal account to the relevant field in your Thinkific account so we can send through your affiliate commission (see instructional video for details). For those of you based in the UK, if you prefer a bank transfer that can be arranged too, please let us know via email.

  • Referrals are tracked by the course hosting platform, so you don't have to worry about it at all. If you do not have one already, we will set up an account for you and you will receive an email with log-in information. The log in process is super simple, please see the below video for more details. If you already have an account, access it here.

  • Refunds can be requested within 14 days of signing up. In such cases, affiliates do not receive the commission.

  • You can mention the course as much or as little as you like. We won’t be checking in or keeping score :) Please do what feels right for you and for your audience.

Having said that, for the best chances of someone making use of your affiliate link, we’d recommend you mention the course (or courses) you are promoting at least 2-3 times during any active launch periods. You can also create an Instagram highlight or a blog post talking about your experience as a student on the course, your before and after images or anything you feel would generate interest. That way the content is evergreen and always there for people to see and click on your link!

  • Anywhere you want, the more you talk about it the more chances of sales. Here's what we found works best for our affiliates

    • on your blog (in a dedicated blog post or even an ad on your sidebar),

    • in an Instagram post

    • on Instagram stories (and saved as a highlight)

    • in your bio or on Linktree etc,

    • on Facebook, on Pinterest,

    • anywhere you have an audience!

Want to know more about the technical side of things? See our video with instructions on how to access and navigate your Thinkific affiliate account.

(Please note we are currently updating this video. You can still watch it to see how to access your account, but you will now find more links in the product list. You can use either the “home page” link which will take your audience to the course menu, or a selected link for a specific course if you only want to promote that.)

More details on how things work for affiliates on Thinkific can be found in this useful resource on their platform.

This looks good. I’m in! What now?

If you are already an affiliate you don’t need to do anything, your account is still active and your link and discount code is the same. See below resources for ideas on how to make this program work best for you.

If you are new to the program please fill in your details in the form below. We will get back to you with log in information and you’ll be all set to follow the information on this page.

You are free to create content in whichever way you prefer, but if you are stuck for ideas we have you covered!

suggested format/content for a blog post (FOR PROMOTING BOTH THE FOUNDATION AND REELS COURSES)

A blog post is one of the best ways to ensure your personalised link is ALWAYS available for potential students to access, thus allowing you to earn your commission from a new sale. Here are some ideas of what you could include in your post in order to attract the interest of your readers:

  • Before and after images or Reels

  • A few words about your personal experience as a student:

    - how did the course make you feel? Inspired, emboldened, excited, curious?

    - how did you find the learning process? Easy to follow, kept you interested and eager for the next lesson?

    - which were the measurable outcomes for you? Able to post more regularly on Instagram, attracted your dream/first/major client, felt confident to pitch a client?

  • and of course your personal link and discount code for your audience!

See here an example of how you can create a blog post about an online course!
