the logistics - what to bring and what to expect

• The workshop includes tea/coffee/refreshments throughout the day + a light vegetarian lunch.

• Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.

• The use of stunning backdrops, gorgeous props and of course picture perfect food is included!

• The workshop will have 8-10 attendees max to allow for lots of individual attention and support. Spots will be provided on a first come, first serve basis

• Please bring your own camera, memory card, battery and mobile phone cameras if you wish to document the day for Instagram Stories.

• Do bring a camera stand if you can as it will come in handy for certain aspects of videography, though this is not essential to attend the workshop; we’ll also have a limited number of camera stands available to use for those who can’t bring a camera stand.

• Do bring a laptop for editing and let us know in advance if you don’t have one or can’t bring it.

• Once you book your spot you will receive a questionnaire which will help us understand where you’re at in your learning and how we can best support you in your workshop.

FAQ

WHO IS THE WORKSHOP FOR?

You need to...

• have a DSLR or mirrorless camera and know how to shoot confidently in manual mode

• have a good, solid understanding of shooting images using natural light

• be open to learning and curious about capturing food content

• you don’t need to be super experienced or a pro photographer, but as we won’t be covering how to use your camera for photography or how to use natural light, you would need a solid understanding of both

• be able to work independently as well as in a small group

WHAT MAKES AN IN PERSON WORKSHOP DIFFERENT FROM INFORMATION ONLINE?

Tuning out from social media, screens and Youtube means you have an opportunity to fully connect to your own creativity and immerse yourself in your creative energy. Working so closely with me will also allow you to identify your unique strengths and iron out any stumbling blocks you may be encountering. Plus you'll have access to all my props and backdrops. It's gonna be so much fun!

CAN I ATTEND IF I ONLY USE MY PHONE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY?

Though there are certainly various aspects of the workshop that can be enjoyed by those working solely with their mobile phone, in order to make the most of this two day experience, you will need a DSLR or mirrorless camera to attend

Deposit - £200 for those of you paying in 3 instalments (non refundable deposit on booking) - £500 - £500
