My FREE #eatcaptureshare Instagram challenge is back, this time with a focus on Food Reels creation! We’re once again coming together to enjoy a week jam-packed with creativity, food videography and food styling tips and the chance to connect with like-minded creatives from around the world.
The aim of this challenge is to fine tune your food content creation skills and to give you the support and accountability to show up consistently on Instagram too. And the best part? It's completely FREE!

THE INSTAGRAM FOOD REELS CHALLENGE TIMETABLE
You have until MIDNIGHT Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on Saturday, March 15th 2025 to sign up to this FREE Instagram Food Reels challenge by joining the mailing list at the end of this blog post!
You will receive two e-mails, one on Sunday March 16th and the other on Monday March 17th, 2025 with an outline of the 3 challenge themes, inspiring mood boards, food reel creation tips, some important information and of course the designated hashtag for the challenge.
You’ll then have 2 weeks to come up with your creative concepts and to film your content!
You will be showcasing your finished food Reels on your Instagram grid on Tuesday 1st, Wednesday, 2nd and Thursday 3rd April, so mark those dates in your diary today!
I’ll announce the winners and runners up on Sunday, April 6th on my Instagram grid and stories. Wanna join?
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE CHALLENGE?
Everyone! Complete beginners, intermediate creatives and professional photographers, videographers and food content creators, there’s something for everyone. The challenge is about pushing your own boundaries and being as artistic and creative as you want to be.

Essentially, yes! It's all about food, however, the themes will be set in such a way that you'll have lots of artistic freedom to interpret them in whichever way you like.

No, you can use a regular camera, an iPhone or smart phone camera or anything else you have at hand.

No, of course not. There's no pressure to “perform”. It's all about having fun and thinking outside the box. However, if at all possible I'd really recommend you try your hand at every theme to reap the benefits of regularly creating content, fine tuning your Instagram gallery and developing your videography skills.

I promise I'll look at all the Reels submitted, but I know it will be impossible for me to comment on each and every entry. However, if you'd like to study more closely with me I suggest you consider joining my online FOUNDATION course or my online FOOD REELS course and becoming part of my student insider community.

It depends. Please read your last few emails thoroughly as they will clearly state if you’ve pre-registered or not.
Alternatively, to be on the safe side, feel free to register again below. You won’t get duplicates of my emails, so no worries there.
